Attention Students! We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated substitute teachers to fill our contracted center requests in the Infant, Toddler, Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten classrooms. As a substitute teacher, you will have the flexibility to choose when and where to work, the opportunity to work in a variety of schools and classrooms while making a positive impact on the lives of young children. Additionally, substitute teachers have more free time to take care of yourselves! You are not responsible for planning lessons, just implementing them or parent communication outside of the classroom.
Responsibilities include:
Providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for children ages 6 weeks-5 years of age
Implementing developmentally appropriate activities
Managing behavior and maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere
Communicating with other staff members
Collaborating with a team of early childhood professionals
Following pre-planned lesson plans
Being a positive role model for others
Qualifications:
A love for working with youth
Ability to work well in a team environment
Strong communication and organizational skills
Willingness to continuously learn and grow as an educator
Experience working with young children
Flexibility and willingness to work in various school settings
