Medical Assistant
Looking for a part-time bilingual Spanish speaking Medical Assistant.
The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting with clinical care under the specialty of Sports Medicine/Orthopedics. The duties of a medical assistant includes:
Preparing patients for visits
Assisting physician during visits and coordinating patient treatment plans
Providing DME fittings
Procedure set up and support
Assist with dressing removal and post-operative care
Charting, billing, and data collections as assigned by his/her direct supervisor
Qualifications:
Medical Assistant Certification
Spanish Speaking
Ideally 1 year of experience, but open to new grads
Ability to work with physical demands of standing 80% of the day
Skills in organizing work flow to meet deadlines
Ability to perform independently and complete assignments with minimum direction and supervision
Working knowledge of medical terminology
Ability to take direction from physician and work collaboratively with other staff members
