Overview

Instructor will be able to proficiently teach/tutor junior high/high school level math, which includes Algebra, Algebra 2, Trigonometry and Pre-Calculus. Instructor is responsible for defining the specific needs and learning style of each student. Candidate will be responsible for communicating with parents and teachers. Teachers must have a minimum of a B.A. B.S. degree from an accredited university. Teaching experience is a plus. All instructors must clear a DOJ background check. References are required.

Tutor Qualifications/Skills:

Emotional maturity and stability
Patient, flexible, positive, consistent, dependable, and cooperative with a sense of humor
Ability to take supervision and correction constructively
Ability to positively supervise student.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
Bachelor’s degree in Education or subject-matter field preferred
Recent teaching experience a plus
Must Clear DOJ Background Check
