Job Responsibilities:
• Massage soft body tissues to relieve
discomfort and provide treatment for injuries, wellness maintenance, or medical conditions.
• Exercising sensitivity to a clients’ medical history and possible injuries while using massage to relieve tension and pain.
• Travel to client homes to provide professional massage services or meet with clients in a professional setting based on already made appointments.
• Develop customized treatment plans for each client and their individual needs.
• Refer clients to other professionals and therapists when appropriate and necessary to treat additional symptoms.
• Prepare oil blends for clients’ skin and perform other treatment techniques and therapies in addition to massage.
•Provide back, shoulder, arm and neck massages at chair events, typically 10-45 minute increments. And supply your own quality massage chair, preferably black.
• Must be knowledgeable in specific massage techniques and can perform them (or have a willingness to learn), these include but are not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, prenatal, reflexology, and sports massage.
Job Skills & Qualifications Required:
• Hold current state massage therapy license
• Have reliable transportation with “C” class driver's license and car insurance
• Adhere to all current regulations and laws related to massage therapy
• Ability to handle sensitive client information with confidentiality
• Ability to pass a background check
