Learn Sing & Grow is a music & movement studio community for children and their grownups. We are looking for exceptional people to teach Kindermusik classes in our studios in Columbus, OH. In this role you will work in a dedicated team of educators to deliver music & movement experiences to children aged 0-5yrs.

The ideal candidates are compassionate, vibrant teachers who are enthusiastic about sharing the transformational benefits of music in early development.

Once hired, you will be provided paid training to successfully receive Kindermusik Educator Accreditation. Your paid training will be accompanied by a series of paid class observations. Currently, the role requires minimum 5 classes a week plus 1-2 hours of prep time. (Number of classes per week negotiable). Minimum hours/week is 10 with great potential for more.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
In this role you will serve as a Classroom Cultivator, becoming the heart & soul of the classroom as you provide an amazing educational experience while delivering delight to those you reach.

-Spark joy in children aged 0-5 by teaching weekly music & movement classes
-Prepare & deliver Kindermusik lesson plans (Learn Sing & Grow will provide training, curriculum & materials) -After completing training, as a Kindermusik Accredited Educator, you will:
-Prepare and practice weekly Kindermusik lessons to ensure an excellent educational experience for our community
-Complete weekly class observations of other instructors to strengthen individual teaching
-Create a magical environment of learning and community
-Guide adults to learn how to observe and understand their child by bringing attention to their child's activities and growth, delivering a truly personalized experience
-Foster relationships and provide ongoing support for the families in your classes as it best serves their child inside and outside of the classroom
-Maintain a clean working environment
-Participate in regular team meetings, 1:1 check-ins & annual team retreats
-Contribute routinely to our team Trello Boards used for team communication, lesson planning & updates
-Other opportunities, tasks, and responsibilities as requested from time

THE ESSENTIALS
Ability to teach music & movement classes to children ages 0-5.
Natural capability to carry a class with your singing voice.
A background in either music or early childhood education / child development is preferred, not required. Consistent access to stable internet as well as comfort using new computer programs.
Comfort using Trello as a means of communication and collaboration with the team.
Current driver's license and access to a car.
Current BCI and/or Fingerprint Check or willing to obtain one.
Ability to lift up to 20lbs from time to time (ie boxes when prepping or moving supplies).
Ability to maintain a moderate to high level of physical activity (we crawl, jump, dance, twirl, and stay on our feet for most of the class). Ability to move while singing.
Speak English fluently.

WORKING WITH US
We provide full paid training along with paid observation hours (at an admin rate). All classroom materials and costs are covered by Learn Sing & Grow.
The office manages all enrollments, accounts, and marketing.
Staff are paid on the 15th and last day of each month.

HOURS OF WORK: Part-time, roughly 15hrs per week with room to grow

PAYMENT: Starting $25/class
Starting pay $25/class; Additional pay for team trainings and other supportive responsibilities as necessary.
