Kennel Assistant
MUST LOVE DOGS!
We are hiring for our Camp Counselor/Kennel Tech Position . All training will be provided. Previous experience preferred but not required. Must be 18 years of age or older.
All applicants must be responsible, reliable, healthy, be able to take direction and work independently, have reliable transportation, no allergies to dogs, lift 40 pounds, able to stand/walk for approximately 6 hours and able to work Saturday OR Sunday and holidays. (Weekend and Holiday time off is available upon request)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintaining cleanliness of facility
Overseeing 15-25 dogs in an indoor/outdoor setting
Basic grooming needs of dogs
Group enrichment activities for dogs in our care
One on one enrichment for dogs
Maintaining cleanliness of play yard
Full Time/Part Time Standard Shifts: Must have open availability or be able to work either AM (7am-1pm) or PM (1pm-7pm) Shift Monday-Friday and one weekend shift either Sat (7am-11am & 3pm-7pm) or Sun (7am-10am & 4pm-7pm).
We are currently looking for Full Time or Part Time.
Salary is based on experience and hours available to work. All employees must be able to pass a certified Pet First Aid and CPR course by 6 months of employment, which we will pay for and provide the training.
