Journalist
I am the CEO of a local law firm, launching a general interest small bi-monthly neighborhood newspaper. We are looking for a student to assist in all aspects of the project, including researching and writing articles of local interest; interviewing local residents for articles of interest; coordinate with writers about standing columns; possible sale of ads; coordinate with the publisher and help with the layout; and more.
Must have an outgoing personality, with excellent writing and verbal skills.
We expect this position to be approx. 5 hours per week. Paper is currently published on a bi-monthly basis.
