Interior Design Assistant
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
� Creation of floor plans and elevations using Vectorworks.
� Take on-site measurements for purpose of crafting floor plans and elevations.
� Be the first point of call for clients and suppliers to answer questions and solve issues.
� Ensure projects are delivered to required timescales, costs and quality.
� Proactively manage project activities to ensure effective communication, removal of barriers and timely delivery.
� Manage social media channels.
� Sourcing of vendors, samples and materials.
� Maintain & organize design studio, including files and sample library.
� Position is an office position but occasionally physical work (such as moving small furniture, home styling for photoshoots, carrying accessories, etc.) will be required.
� Create construction drawings for renovations and custom millwork.
REQUIREMENTS:
� Degree in interior design, design school, or equivalent experience; or currently pursuing such degree.
� Proficient in Sketchup.
� Proficient in Vectorworks � ability to develop floorplans and elevations.
� Proficient in social media and willing to assist in posts and managing social media accounts.
� Excellent attention to detail and highly organized.
� Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and is eager to learn and grow in the industry.
� Must be prompt and utilize strong communication skills when communicating with clients.
� Have a positive, friendly, professional attitude and a good sense of humor.
