High School Science Teacher
Torah Academy of the Pacific Northwest is an independent faith-based boys high school located near Seward Park. Torah Academy strives to provide a top notch academic program in a warm, respectful and nurturing environment. We are seeking a talented part-time Science teacher (preferably Biology) in the afternoon for the 2022-23 school year. The 9/10 science class meets from 1:55-2:40 Monday-Thursday. The position begins August 29. Compensation for this part-time position is very competitive.
An opportunity to teach an Algebra class in addition to Science this year is also possible.
There is room for this position to grow as starting next year three science periods will be available to teach.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree or higher in either Biology or Science. A Masters Degree is preferred.
Two years minimum experience teaching Science to high school students.
Ability to create and maintain an engaging, positive, and supportive classroom environment

Pay: $8,000.00 - $10,000.00 per period
