Groundskeeper
Job description
We're looking for a part-time groundskeeper to help keep the store and property clean and maintained.
We offer flexible part-time hours. 20-30 hours per week.
The ideal candidate for this position has an outgoing personality and positive outlook and is detail-oriented.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Custodial work, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning windows, bathrooms, etc.
-Cutting up and disposing of motorcycle crates weekly
-Paint exterior/interior of building, pick up litter/trash on grounds daily, maintain light fixtures and replace light bulbs, etc.
-Removing leaves and debris from rooftop
-Routine pressure wash/blowing of walkways and parking lot
-Routine irrigation work( adjusting and replacing sprinkler heads)
-Assist other team members when necessary
-Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property, co-workers, or guests
Required Skills and Abilities:
-Clearly communicate verbally, in writing and ability to read in English
-Read and understand various manuals, instructions and other printed materials, such as assembly manuals, procedures manuals, warning labels and directional labeling on materials needed to perform various tasks
-Work under time constraints and complete tasks in a reasonable timeframe
-Willingness to accept other tasks and responsibilities that may not be strictly related to repair and maintenance
-Limited computer literacy
Physical Demands:
-Safely lift and carry weights up to fifty (50) pounds without assistance
-Safely move large boxes with the use of a hand truck
-Ability to safely use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, saws, various power tools including hand held drills, circular saws, and chain saw.
-Safely ascend and descend various types of ladders unassisted
-Tolerate normal levels of exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions
-Must be able to safely access all areas of the property's grounds, regardless of grounds conditions and/or weather conditions, including multilevel structures, without the aid of an elevator
-Frequently, and possibly, for long periods of time: walk, stand, bend, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

Salary: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
