Game Master
Job description
We are looking for individuals who are warm and welcoming, enjoy interacting with groups of people, and can think quickly on their feet. An ideal candidate must possess strong problem-solving skills. Qualified individuals must have good attention to detail, be outgoing, and find joy in helping others.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Greet customers and provide a friendly, warm, and welcoming environment
Inform customers of the pre-game instructions
Maintain a positive game experience
Register customers and process cash and card payments
Monitor player activity using a computer program
Provide clear and timely hints during gameplay using a custom computer program
Quickly and accurately reset the escape room between games
Manage social media content, including the posting of photos and descriptions
Open and close the business depending on shift
Collect and dispose of trash to maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old
Must possess an outgoing and friendly attitude
Must have strong writing and verbal skills
Must be comfortable with public speaking
Must be reliable and punctual
Requirements:
The ability to accurately reset missions is absolutely essential. Need to have that EYE for detail. Must be able to work hard and fast in often high energy, high paced atmosphere.
Flexible availability during the week and weekend.
Previous escape room experience is not required but a plus. Retail / Customer Service experience not required but a plus.
Flexible work schedule:
If you are a student, we will work with your availability to make sure you can balance your academic schedule and work schedule.
