Engineering Instructor
Stemtree of Spring is a K-12 Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education center. We are currently looking for energetic and highly motivated individuals who enjoy working with kids to empower them for incredible success. This is a great job for candidates or part-time job seekers interested in making a difference in kids life.
If you are interested in teaching kids basic computer programming and engineering and love working with kids, this is a great opportunity to get on board as our company continues to grow. No previous experience is required! You will be professionally trained on our curriculum. The training is fully paid.
REQUIREMENT:
- Computer science/Computer Engineering/information major candidates.
- Candidates must be comfortable teaching young kids and be open to learning unique teaching methods.
- Strong people skills are a must for this position.
- Background check required upon hire.
- You must be prompt and reliable.
- A quick learner.
- Candidates must have their own transportation
Duties will include:
- To attend the training to acquire the knowledge on how to operate the franchise and the handling of applications and necessary material for each STEM course.
- To accompany and explain to each assigned student the assessment they must take to determine their level.
- To review the evaluation and determine, according to internal regulations, the level to which the student will correspond.
- To evaluate each student at the end of each level.
- To explain to each assigned student the exercises they must do in each session.
- To accompany and resolve student doubts during each session.
- To review the progress of each student and complete the progress documentation.
- To attend, when necessary, the coordination and planning meetings of the courses.
- Instructors must follow the established guidelines and procedures, guaranteeing the confidentiality of the contents and courses they teach.
