Driving Instructor
Job Description/Position Details
As a professional driving instructor, you will teach behind the wheel instruction following instructional guidelines from the State of California DMV to complete a required Behind the Wheel Driving curriculum, as well as meeting the instructional goals of Car-diology Driving School. This position is a great fit for college students and teachers!
Location: Car-diology Driving School is located in San Ramon, California. Driving instruction will take place all over the bay area with a company provided vehicle.
Availability Needed: We are seeking instructors for after school hours on weekdays (Mon-Fri 3:45pm-8:30pm) and weekends. Weekends are a must but times are flexible. 15-30 hours per week. Can lead to full time. $21-$23/hr depending on experience.
The ideal candidate for this position will:
-have an interest in teaching the practical skills of driving
-enjoys helping others develop their abilities
- has lots of patience
Any candidates considered for this position will need the following:
- Be at least 21 years of age (Department of Motor Vehicles requirement)
-Must be dependable
-Must have H.S. Diploma or equivalent
- Possess and maintain a valid California Driver's License.
-Must have a clean DMV and criminal record
-Must pass background investigation, medical evaluation, and instructor examination through Department of Motor Vehicles which we will help with.
-Must complete provided training course.
