Job Titles: Operator/Driver (Hourly Salary: $15/hr - $20/hr)
Scheduled Hours: 1:30 PM � 6:00 PM, Mon � Fri.
Part-time Hourly Worker
Job Purpose
Delivers mail by preparing, loading, unloading, operating, and cleaning a van. (50% of work hours)
Performs mailing-related tasks or operation at the company.
Job Responsibilities
? Delivers mail by identifying destinations; establishing route; operating the truck; loading/unloading mail; maintaining schedule.
? Report customer needs to the management.
? Serves customers by understanding and resolving or forwarding complaints.
? Maintains safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations; cleans van/truck exterior and interior.
? Assists a mail sorting operation on a MLOCR (mail sorting) machine
? Performs other mail fulfillment tasks.
? Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.
? Willing to work over-time during weekdays.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
? Customer Focus, Deadline-Oriented, Acute Vision, Selling to Customer Needs, Dependability
? Requires the ability to stand, walk, stoop and bend approximately 50% of the time. Required to lift up to 7-20 lbs. Requires ability to work extra hours.
? Good driving records with C-class are required. No major traffic violations within last 3 years.
? Experience in driving a cargo truck is preferred.
? Good communication skills in English.
? Training will be provided to learn how to do the mailing tasks and use equipment related to the above tasks.
? Computer skills on Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) are plus
