Direct Support Professional
WAR Ministry Corporation is seeking Direct Support Professionals to work part-time providing in home and in community support services to youth and adults with developmental disabilities. Services will be delivered one-on-one in the home or community based setting.
Other essential responsibilities include:
implement support plans for ADL skill acquisition
Completes paperwork, including individual progress notes, and time sheets
Assisting youths and adults with community based activities
To be considered for this position:
Must be over 18 years of age
Must have high school diploma; associate degree or bachelor degree in Psychology, Education, Sociology, or related field preferred
Must be willing and able to attend required trainings
Must have a valid driver’s license and Abstract (not to exceed 5 points)
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to pass required criminal background check and fingerprinting
Must be able to obtain medical clearance in order to provide services
Must be CPR certified

Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) encouraged to apply. Driver’s License/Abstract (not to exceed 5 points) required and CPR/First Aid Certification required. Must be able to pass criminal background check.
