Customer Service
We are looking for a Customer Service Associate (PT or FT) who will join our Foremost Seafood family at our sole location in Kettering, Ohio!
Foremost Seafood is a locally owned and operated purveyor of fresh seafood in Kettering, OH. We offer a wide selection of fresh fish, shellfish, and a variety of other food to fine restaurants and institutions all around the greater Miami Valley. We also directly serve consumers and individuals can stop by our shop to have some of the finest seafood hand-cut to order.
We are looking to hire a customer service associate to provide support and service to our retail customers. All Foremost Seafood jobs require ensuring a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and fellow team members.
What you�ll do in this role:
Provide customers with product knowledge on our selection
Assist in identifying opportunities for solution selling as needed (for example, steelhead trout and salmon taste very similar!)
Ensure front of house product is stocked and presentable at all times
Answer phones, assist with order taking and provide additional support to team members as needed
Assist with cleaning, proper storing of product, and light processing of product
Assist/and or be in charge with opening/closing duties
Work effectively independently and as a team to perform all tasks assigned
Job Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to meet customer service expectations and standards in all interactions
Ability to follow directions and procedures
Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
Work respectfully and cooperatively, we have a small but mighty team. All hands-on deck mentality.
Ability to operate company-provided technology (scale, square system, etc)
Ability to walk, stand, reach, and bend
The ideal person will have:
High school diploma or equivalent years of experience
Experience in retail/customer service
We have friendly retail schedule as our store operates on the below hours:
Sunday - Monday: Closed
Tuesday: 10:00am - 5:00pm
Wednesday: 10:00am - 5:00pm
Thursday: 10:00am - 5:00pm
Friday: 10:00am - 5:00pm
Saturday: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
