Counselor
Under the supervision of Program Director, the Counselor is responsible for managing assigned caseload, rehabilitation, support, counseling and education services to assigned patients with substance use disorders.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Includes the following; other duties may be assigned)
Perform screening, assessment, treatment planning, counseling, case management and crisis intervention
Manage assigned caseload under the supervision of the Clinic Manager and/or Program Director
Coordinate individual and/or group counseling services to patients
Keep organized and support work with detailed related documentation
*COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor or Master�s degree and relevant experience in a behavioral health and/or substance abuse setting
Prefer Behavioral Health Licensed Professional credentialed (LCSW, LPC, LISAC, LAC, or LBSW)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
High level of patience and a non-judgmental attitude
Passionate about being a part of our mission of treating individuals who are struggling with behavioral health and substance abuse issues
Experience working with multicultural and low socio-economic individuals. General knowledge & aptitude for working independently with adults of mixed ethnic groups.
Bilingual is a plus.

Salary: $19.00 - $30.00 per hour
