**This is a part-time position.
Do you like cooking and working with kids? Then this is the job for you! Successful candidates will be assigned to schools and community centers for fun programs with kids meeting after-school time. Availability to stay for our summer camps will be offered.
If mornings or evenings are what you are looking for, Chefsville offers some program administrative tasks including gathering supplies, ingredients, recipes, and activities for each program.
Each day a different school could be assigned. Our goal is to have at least 2 staff members assigned to each program consisting of one lead instructor and one assistant instructor. During school breaks, holiday weeks and summer, Chefsville offers camps, Saturday cooking classes, scouting programs, and birthday parties. Chefsville offers flexible schedules so this is an ideal job for college students.

Job Locations: Presently we are in: Wylie, Sachse, Richardson, and Fort Worth.
Times below:
� After-School programs - 2:30pm � 4:45pm Monday-Thrusday
Successful candidates will be trained and will assist in planning; gathering equipment needed, light shopping as needed, and delivering instruction to K-8 ages around cooking, art, and life skill education. The informal focus will be on common sense, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Duties include planning, preparation of materials and supplies needed programs.
Qualifications: High school diploma plus 1 year of relevant work experience. Candidates must have completed high school. Some colleges preferred. A degree program will be considered. The candidate needs to enjoy cooking and have some interest in educating kids about food and health.

Candidates must want to work with children ages 4 and up, with 6 months of equivalent study/experience. Other experience with summer camp and volunteering with kids counts as experience.
Requirements:
� 1 year of relevant work experience
� Good oral and written communication skills,
� Organizational skills,
� Multi-tasking,
� Some cooking background a plus,
� Reliable transportation
� Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check in order to work with children,
� Common sense with business,
� Good with critical thinking and problem-solving,
� Candidate must be willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement and be able to come to at least two activities in which to volunteer for skills assessment
Other skills: Computer literacy required. People skills required. Microsoft Office products preferred. Candidate must have access to computer, internet, and printer. Job duties involve the occasional use of technology. Cooking basics needed.

� Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test since this job is working with kids
� Schools may require the candidate to afford to be fingerprinted which is about $40 (reimbursable)
