Christian congregation in University City seeking a Childcare Provider for Sunday

Description of Position
The Childcare Provider will provide oversight and care for children in the nursery,
during Sunday morning services. The class currently ranges from 1-5 kids,
depending on the Sunday. The age range of children can be 6 months to 7 years
old.
Compensation: $100 per Sunday (approximately 9:30am - 12:45pm)
We�re looking for:
Someone who cares about and connects well with young children; has a calm
presence and pays attention to safety.��
Someone interested in nurturing a space of belonging for young children that is play-
centered and fun.
Someone comfortable working with diverse families and is comfortable
communicating with parents and church members about needs and concerns.
Someone who is flexible in their ability to work with smaller groups or larger groups
of children; comfortable in helping young children express themselves, resolve
conflict, use the bathroom, and eat snacks.
Someone with background checks and child abuse clearances (or willingness to
complete them before beginning work).
Someone with experience providing childcare is preferable.
Expectations:
� Arrive by 9:30am on Sunday mornings to receive children before the worship
service begins.�Provide oversight and care during after the service during
�coffee hour� until 12:45pm. Maintain a tidy room by cleaning up the nursery
after service.
� If there are no children in the nursery, be present as an aide and support to
the Sunday school teacher.�
� Sundays off are flexible, with 3 weeks� notice.
