We provide a cozy, intimate setting for our guests, premium specialty cocktails, and entertainment. Gruene is one of the hottest parts of Texas with lots of tourist and loyal locals.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced bartender(mixologist) to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers� needs and expectations. At Gruene�s Last Call YOU create the environment, through your cocktails and service for our guests.
Responsibilities:
-Prepare alcohol and non-alcohol beverages for bar patrons.
-Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to cocktail recipes.
-Assess guests� needs and preferences and make recommendations
-Ability to master our rotating specialty cocktail menu
-Verify the identification and age of guests
-Process payment from guests.
-Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed.
-Provide friendly and attentive service
-Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
Skills:
-Resume and proven working experience as a bartender (mixologist)
-Passion for Bartending and creating an amazing bar experience.
-Minimum of 2-3 years of bartending by being current with cocktail trends, well versed in cocktail creations.
-Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
-Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
-Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
-ServSafe & TABC liquor license are required.
-Past experience with Union POS is a plus
-Knowledge of a second language is a plus
Scheduling and Compensation:
-Part time
-Weekends and evenings
-Compensation includes hourly and tips.
Operating hours: Wednesday (3-11pm), Thursday (3-11pm), Friday (3-12pm), Saturday (12-12pm), and Sunday (3-10pm).
