Banquet Server
We are seeking a Banquet Catering Server to join our Manor House team!
As the Banquet Catering Server, you are serving food and drinks at special events while interacting with guests in a positive, friendly, and efficient manner.
The ideal candidate for a Banquet Catering Server position at The Manor House at Prophecy Creek is someone who has an energetic personality, a hard work ethic, self-motivated, and a passion for offering excellent service. The Manor House offers an educational work environment for someone who is interested in learning about the hospitality industry. We like to promote from within and there is opportunity for advancement dependent on performance.
Three shifts are available during a weekend. Shifts average ten hours, and you can potentially make $150 to $180 per shift, paid weekly. Dinner is included in your shift.
Banquet/Catering Server Duties And Responsibilities
� Event set up and breakdown including arranging tables and chairs and setting tables
� Carrying plates of food on trays and serving guests
� Refilling guests� beverage glasses; removing finished plates and utensils between meal courses
� Serving cocktails, wine, and beer
� Occasionally presenting and pouring wine at private tastings and weddings
� Maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness
Banquet And Catering Server Job Requirements
� Energetic personality and strong work ethic
� Polite manners and excellent communication skills
� A passion for food and fine dining
� Adherence to professional appearance standards & Manor House policies
� Ability to lift 25-50 pounds
� Constantly standing, walking, and reaching during shift; possibly extended distances; ability to bend and climb stairs when necessary
� Available shifts to work are on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday�s.
� Flexible to work holiday weekends.
Preferred Education, Experience, And Skill Requirements
� High School diploma or equivalent preferred
� Previous server or banquet server experience
� Excellent oral communication and listening skills
� Ability to follow directions
� Excellent customer service skills
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a part time position and flexibility is important. Shift assignments are discussed at the time of hire and should remain consistent within reason.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Individuals will be required to complete background checks per Pennsylvania state law prior to the start of employment.
