Position Description
Architectural Digest and Dwell magazine featured Designer Malek Alqadi, is looking for an ambitious, growth focused individual to complement Malek& COHESION team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a leading design studio, working with some of the world's top thought leaders. You must be an energetic, self-sufficient contributor with design skills that can work with AUTOCAD and SKETCHUP and LUMION.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Proficient in Auto-CAD
Construction Document Drafting, Construction set
Sketch up 3D
Enrolled in a college degree program or recent graduate
Use of LUMION is +
Graphic Design Skills
Position Type: Part-time to Full-time
Desired Major(s): Architecture / B.Arch / M.Arch
Job Function: Site Visits + Drafting + 3D Sketch-up + Project Management.
Responsibilities include:
Update, organize and maintain resource library.
Request samples, updated pricelists, and information from vendors and suppliers.
Pick up and delivery of memo samples, merchandise, etc.
Assist designers with various requests related to the performance of their job.
Correspond with vendors and workrooms as directed by designers
requirements:
Overall knowledge of residential finishes and applications.
Working knowledge of interior architecture and design principles, theories, and concepts.
Detail-oriented, organized, self-starter and personable.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time and work independently.
Phone experience.
Approximate Hours Per Week: 20-30+ hours per week
Projects and Learning Outcomes:
You will experience first-hand construction drawings, design, and project management skills. You will work with vibrant internal and external consultants and gain exposure in the architecture and design field.
