StudentNest is recruiting qualified Tutors to work with the Lockhart Independent School District. There is additional work available for virtual tutors (Non-LISD contracts).
Qualifications and Skills:
•Completion bonus of $500 at the end of the project* (Completion - tutoring duration as specified in the job offer)
Minimum of 60 units of college credits with a minimum of 2 years in tutoring experience • Preferred background teaching/tutoring high school English 1 and/or Algebra 1
• Being bilingual/multilingual is a plus
• Knowledge of virtual platforms preferred
• Detail oriented and highly dependable
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Motivation and passion to help students achieve academic excellence
• Must have reliable transportation and current vehicle insurance
Pay: $22 per hour, Completion bonus of $500 at the end of the project* (Completion - tutoring duration as specified in the job offer)
Work Schedule: *SET TO START SEPTEMBER 2022*. Part-time Monday-Friday, in-person at LISD sites. You can also work additional hours providing services at our other virtual programs ·
Other requirements: FBI/DOJ Background check, tuberculosis testing, proof of COVID vaccination to comply with School District requirements.
