Special Projects & Mitzvah Volunteer
REQUIREMENTS:

Ages 12-14 years old (7th-9th grade)
Commit to minimum of 1 semester (3 months)
Sign volunteer contract

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Complete project that contributes to BFAK
Assist with clerical duties
Assist with fundraising events
Make props for BFAK
Providing backstage assistance during recitals
Junior Volunteer
REQUIREMENTS:

Ages 12-14 years old (7th-9th grade)
Commit to minimum 1 semester (3 months)
Take minimum 2 ballet classes per week
Sign Volunteer Contract
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with clerical duties
Assist with fundraising events
Make props for BFAK
Opportunity to perform in our annual recitals

Intermediate Volunteer
REQUIREMENTS:

At least age of 15-16 years old (10th grade and up)
Complete interview (Zoom or in-person)
Commit to minimum 1 semester (3 months)
Commit to 2+ semesters to be eligible for letter of recommendation
Take minimum 2-3 Ballet classes a week
Sign volunteer contract & complete training

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work directly with dancers in assisting their participation in ballet class
You will receive training to ensure you are competent in working with children of various disabilities
Share responsibilities with junior volunteers
Senior Volunteer
REQUIREMENTS:

At least age of 15-16 years old (10th grade and up)

Commit to minimum 1 semester (3 months)
Commit to 2+ semesters to be eligible for letter of recommendation
Take minimum 2-3 Ballet classes a week
Sign volunteer contract & complete training

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work directly with dancers in assisting their participation in ballet class
You will receive training to ensure you are competent in working with children with various disabilities
Provide mentorship and share responsibilities with junior and intermediate volunteers
Opportunity to substitute teach ballet classes as a dance instructor certified in the Schlachte Method
Opportunity to dance as a soloist in recitals
