Training & Development Intern
TEL is seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to join our 10-week corporate internship program supporting Training & Development. This program is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in a real-world corporate environment and to offer them the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in organizational development.

Internship Dates: May 22, 2023 - July 28, 2023

Weekly Hours: Approximately 30

Wage: $20 per hour

Responsibilities
Work on assigned projects in a team with other interns
Follow the guidelines and instructions provided by mentors and senior managers
Complete projects on time and to the best of your ability
Attend regular feedback sessions with mentors and peers
Contribute to team meetings and discussions
Attend training sessions and workshops as required
Assisting in the design and development of training materials, including presentations, job aids, and assessments.
Collaborating with team members to identify opportunities for improvement in existing training programs and make recommendations.
Participating in the delivery of training programs, including facilitating sessions and providing support to trainers.
Conducting research on best practices in adult learning and training program design.
Supporting the tracking and reporting of training program metrics.
Performing administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling and coordinating logistics for training sessions.
Requirements
High School Graduate
Enrolled in an accredited University - Rising Senior, preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills: The ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and stakeholders is critical in the field of learning and development
Attention to detail: Effective instructional design requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and error-free materials
Adaptability and Flexibility: The ability to quickly learn new technologies and techniques is essential in a rapidly evolving field
Organizational skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively is important in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
Technical skills: Familiarity with common software and technology used in the field of learning and development, such as authoring tools, project management software, and multimedia production tools
Creativity and problem-solving skills: The ability to think creatively and solve problems is essential in the development of effective and engaging learning programs
Passion for learning and development: A strong interest and passion for learning and development, and a desire to make a positive impact on the learning and performance of others
These skills, along with the ability to work well in a team, a positive attitude, and a commitment to continuous learning, will help the intern be successful in the Learning & Performance Development team
