CNC Machinist Intern Position Summary
The CNC Machinist Intern operates CNC machines to support the manufacture of components and devices for the industry while attending schooling in a related accredited program

CNC Machinist Intern Duties and Responsibilities
� Operate CNC Mill, EDM, Lathe, and/or Swiss machines
� Learn to perform quality inspection on completed parts
� Learn to perform preventative maintenance on CNC machines to ensure consistent machine performance
� Learn to setup tools
CNC Machinist Intern Position Requirements
� Operator experience with CNC Mill, and Lathe
� Ability to do arithmetic, preferable in machine math/shop math
� Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (learn GD&T)
� Ability to read and interpret blueprints
� Learn to read measurement equipment such as micrometer, caliper, pressure micrometer
