Sands Companies and Sands Building Group was founded in 2014. Sands Building Group is an unlimited general contractor that serves as the construction division for Sands Companies. We are a multifamily developer and contractor specializing in horizontal apartment construction.
Sands Companies is looking for versatile and driven individuals to join our team this summer as Construction Interns! Are you a team player, task-oriented, consider yourself adaptable to changing circumstances and determined to get the job done? If this describes you, then an internship with Sands Companies is a great opportunity to learn and develop your skills in the multifamily construction industry.
This is a 10�12-week summer internship program which begins in May/June 2022 and will wrap up in August. All candidates must be able to work full-time hours in Myrtle Beach, SC for the entire internship to be considered. *Housing will be provided.
Job Responsibilities
� Work closely with internal business leaders to learn different facets of the multifamily construction process, the Sands Companies business model, and an assigned functional area such as construction, land, operations, purchasing.
� Translate classroom experience into practical application during the internship.
Qualifications
? Interest in the fast-paced industry of commercial construction
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
? Highly motivated, confident, purposeful, and entrepreneurial
? Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
? Strong interpersonal skills and a record of collaboration and teamwork
? Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree; construction management,
