Social Media and Marketing Intern Description
About HeadPlant:
HeadPlant, Modern Alchemy (HP) is an energetic healing product line for skin, hair, and body created by founder & CEO, Dr. Mindy Stamulis. Dr. Stamulis is a Certified Reiki Master, Master Herbalist and Clinical/Medical Herbalist, Medical Aromatherapist, Medical Clinical Nutritional Therapist, Clinical CBD Formulation Educator, Cosmecutical Specialist, and most recently earned her Ph.D. in Medical Phytotherapy from the Florida School For Holistic Health, and has has an award-winning cosmetology career for over 30 years.
HP does not treat symptoms. The science-based ingredients in HP treat body systems. HP is the culmination of plant science, energy, love, and lore, and goes deep into the science and magic of plants and energy. In our products, the medical actions and constituents of each plant are incorporated, all while honoring the human spirit and consciousness.
HP is leveling up and is in search of a social media intern to help us grow our online presence and community, increase connections and interactions, and bolster sales.

Social Media and Marketing Intern Job Responsibilities:
Under supervision of and cooperation with Dr. Stamulis and other HP team members, the social media and marketing intern will:
Learn about HP�s values and culture and create a social media strategy to reflect these
Create calendar of, and schedule, social media posts
Create a library of social media post templates
Assist in the creation of written, video, and image content and create a template library in Canva
Share their technical knowledge with the HP team
Assist in launching the HP website
Bring advice, ideas and expertise to the table!
Work Hours, Environment, and Benefits:
This position is for a three month period (with possibility of extension), ranging from three to five hours per week, with a flexible start date.
Compensation is $12 per hour and the intern will be considered an independent contractor. Due to the CBD based nature of HP�s products, this internship does not qualify for college or university credit.
Location of internship will be primarily virtual, with the option to be periodically in-person at the HP lab in Jacksonville, FL. For this reason, HP primarily seeks candidates local to Jacksonville, FL, but is open to completely virtual options.
The intern must provide their own computer/lap top, cell phone & plan, and internet.
Intern will primarily report to Dr. Mindy Stamulis, founder & CEO, and will also collaborate with other HP team members.

Social Media and Marketing Intern Qualifications / Skills:
Deep understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
Ability to work independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of SEO techniques and best practices
Basic editing skills for photography, images, and videos
Basic graphic design skills and experience with Canva
Knowledge of and ability to share recommendations of apps or social media tools that may be useful to HP
Ability to work with some level of ambiguity
Creativity & Innovation
Education and Experience Requirements:
Currently working towards, or recent graduate of, a 2 or 4 year college degree in marketing, business, graphic design, or a related field
Proficient with the use of Google Suite (docs, drive, sheets, etc.)
Experience with Canva
Knowledge of social media management tools
Finger on the pulse of the latest trends and best practices in social media
