Opportunity for a motivated fast learner to be a medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology assistant. You will be a part of a team of pre-meds and pre- pa students who learn to do total patient care including scheduling, insurance, medical and surgical assisting. Experience with EMR a plus. Must be willing to commit for 1 year.
Previous medical office experience or hospital or scribing experience preferred. Majority of previous participants have been accepted to medical school, nursing or physician assistant school after performing at a high level on the team and receiving a letter of recommendation. Full time required. Must be an excellent communicator, calm, diligent with attention to detail as is required in the medical field.
