Intern
We are hiring a Public Relations Intern to support our team. The internship has the potential to open up to full-time opportunities.
As an intern, you will be working with the CEO, Editorial Director, and Marketing Team and will be charged with building awareness and visibility for our news publication. You will do this primarily by contacting PR companies and potential clients to ensure they understand the benefit of working with our news publication. You will also perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
Current enrollment in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or Journalism major
Solid understanding of social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook etc.)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications or G-Suite
Strong grammatical skills and AP Style knowledge.
This is NOT a remote position. We require the right candidate to work in our Parlin, NJ office. Work in a casual environment, in a newly renovated office space! Flexible schedule for students.
