The primary purpose of this role is to support the Events Manager in developing and delivering our growing events program, carrying out a wide range of tasks.

Scope
1. Events bookings, management, planning and marketing
2. Developing the events wedding services
3. Venue/Décor Set-up and breakdown
4. Team Work

Key Tasks
• Assist the Events Manager in planning, co-ordinating, marketing and delivering the events , managing and undertaking the associated booking and administrative tasks
• Promote the venue for use as an event venue, managing and undertaking the associated booking and administrative tasks.
• Show perspective clients around the venue on viewings
• Assist the events manager in setting up and breaking down events.
• Clean the facility before and after events.
• Be willing to undertake other tasks commensurate with the post.
• Be willing to learn how to put together centerpieces, make balloon arches, and construct backdrops.
• Be able to lift up to 30lbs.
• Be able to climb a ladder.

• Good IT skills, able to use Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Publisher and outlook) with confidence
