What we’re looking for:
We are looking for a passionate and creative editorial intern to join us at IPW! When you join our team, you will be responsible for assisting the managing editors with client and contributor content for our print and digital publications.
This opening is for our Denver office located on the Taxi Campus. This award winning, mixed-use community offers green roof space, cafes and restaurants, parking and more!

What you’ll do:
-Work with our team of professionals in media, marketing and publishing of our print and digital subscriptions
-Write daily web content spanning a variety of topics within the tech and cannabis space
-Support Managing Editors work
-Post content on Youtube and Social media
-Increase traffic and engagement, downloads of our content
-Write articles for the magazine, either as a lead author or in collaboration with other writers
Who we’re looking for:
-Candidates must be able to understand and execute social media, content distribution and be able to help with uploading podcasts and content across a variety of platforms.
-Self-motivated and possesses an engaging level of enthusiasm.
-Eager to learn about IPW, our publications, and your role in promoting the IPW culture.
-Able to effectively communicate with both clients and IPW team members.
-Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Wordpress
-Working knowledge of email newsletters
-Understanding of social media influence and social media abilities
-The Editorial Intern will be required to have a strong understanding of the publishing process as well as excellent writing / editing / proofreading / fact checking skills
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams across time zones
-Candidates must be actively enrolled in college or university to be considered for this internship
Job Type: Intern to hire
Location: If in Denver: In office, If not in Denver: remote
Schedule: 15-20 hours per week
Pay: $16/hour
