Digital Marketing Intern
Streamworks is a trusted partner and innovative leader in direct marketing and secure mail communications located in Blaine, MN. Our Marketing team is seeking an enthusiastic part-time Digital Marketing Intern to complement its already successful and talented marketing group.
In this collaborative, entry-level role, you will get a chance to learn important skills and gain professional experience by working on campaigns with our marketing team. Our ideal intern candidate has the skills to produce high-quality, relevant content for social media platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Applicants should be current students in a post-secondary program taking classes for marketing or social media management. Recent graduates can also apply.
This position will be a hybrid of in-person and remote, so regular communication will be key. This position reports to the Digital Marketing Manager and will have an emphasis on email marketing, landing page creation, social media management and database maintenance.
Digital Marketing Intern Duties and Responsibilities:
• Report directly to Digital Marketing Manager with weekly in-person meetings (once or twice a week)
• Support our marketing team
• Assist with social media campaigns
• Assist with email campaigns
• Assist with Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
• Produce website and social media content
• Assist with database clean-up to maintain our marketing library
• Other administrative tasks as needed
Digital Marketing Intern Requirements and Qualifications:
• Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in marketing, journalism, communication, or related degree (recent graduates considered)
• Prior marketing or communications internship experience a plus
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other content creation tools
• Knowledge of social scheduling platforms, prior experience with HubSpot is a plus
• Effective time management and prioritization skills
• Knowledge of web and digital based communications (websites, email marketing, etc.)
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Understanding of inbound marketing concepts, or willingness to learn more
