ABOUT THE POSITION: This position is responsible for the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities, with the expectation of excellent customer service and quality standards being met at every turn. Must have exceptional attention to detail, the ability to track multiple facets of the warehouse at any given time to achieve and maintain inventory accuracy, and the ability to coordinate orders, track shipping times, and fulfill all product orders successfully. This position will also frequently be responsible for the installation of products onto customers vehicle, with the explicit expectation that all installations be completed with the utmost care and professionalism.
Some of the essential functions and responsibilities of this position are to be able to receive, input, sort, load, and unload products, organize stock, maintain inventory, process, pack, and ship orders with a high attention to detail, inspect products for defects and report damages as needed, maintain a safe and healthy work environment, following all standards and procedures and complying with all legal regulations. When installing products onto customer vehicles it is imperative to maintain a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm, effectively handle tense situations, and promptly resolve customer complaints to ensure maximum client satisfaction. This position must be able to create rapport with customers, explain the use and functionality of products, and thoroughly answer customer questions, always striving to create an excellent customer experience and lasting positive impression.
RESPONSIBILITIES:��
Installations
Thoroughly inspect customer vehicle, preferably with the customer
Document any existing damage on the Vehicle Inspection Sheet
Install, or assist customer with self-installing requested products
Employ utmost care and professionalism throughout installation process
Keep installation area tidy and free of debris at all times
Gather all pertinent information prior to scheduling installation

Accurately quote install pricing based on install parameters

Showroom
Help maintain orderly presentation of products, signage, and displays

Customer Service
Assist with answering phones
Answering customer questions
Any and all customer and employee interactions are to be courteous and respectful with the highest level of professionalism.
Voicemail and e-mail messages are to be responded to as quickly as possible throughout the day, even if just to notify the customer that their communication was received and being addressed.

Inventory Control
Monitor inventory levels at all times
Ensure counts are accurate
Verify inventory levels for other locations as necessary,
Report product on hand and/or committed

Quality Assurance
Assist with opening new containers
Set up new products
Inspect and test all new products

Shipping
Ensure all orders are fulfilled in a prompt and timely manner
Build new pallets to replace old or broken ones as needed
Manage materials for packaging
skids
screws
bolts
lumber, etc.
Assist with claims process, including warranty issues
Ensure claims are closed in the most timely fashion possible
Gather photos
Quarantine items
Move items into outlet once claim has been completed

Space Management
Ensure warehouse is kept clean, organized, and tidy at all times
Assist with the review and preparation of workflow
Assist with management of space requirements
Monitor equipment layout
Ensure productivity, quality and customer service standards are consistently being met

Equipment Maintenance
Assist with inspecting equipment, tools, and machinery regularly
Perform general maintenance as needed
Properly trained and/or certified as required by law
Maintain current certifications
Submit current certifications to management for personnel file

Out of Scope Projects
Must willingly step into other projects as necessary
Assistance in the showroom
Customer pick ups and/or installations
Tent repairs
Duties as requested by management.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:�
3+ years of warehouse experience
Basic experience with use of hand tools
Mechanical inclination and problem solving skills
SKILLS/PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change, demonstrates learning agility with desire to grow and develop

Some familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems beneficial

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Some familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems
Current Forklift Certification
Knowledge of current OSHA mandates and regulations

Required to lift, retrieve or reposition products weighing up to 50 pounds.�
Must be able to safely navigate the production facility, OSHA compliant. Normally this person is standing or walking around the facility interacting with team members. Appropriate shoes for standing on concrete flooring is recommended.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Works in warehouse & office environments. The noise level in the facility is usually moderate.
