Warehouse Associate
Your Role
The Warehouse Associates is responsible for fulfilling the logistics behind receiving, processing and storing inventory according to purchase orders and company policy. They must also ensure that shipping schedules are met with attention to detail and ensures timely delivery and loss prevention.
What you will be accountable for:
Pick and pack customer orders;
Shipping & receiving;
Stock equipment and supplies;
Warehouse organization and upkeep;
Inventory and track supplies on-hand;
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment;
Scan and confirm the accuracy of products to be shipped;
Ship through common carriers;
Stock products and build boxes;
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude;
Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices;
Ability to multitask and prioritize;
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequently shifting priorities;
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with company policy ;
Must be able to work in safe manner at all times, avoiding shortcuts that have potential adverse results/risks;
Must be able to comply with safety standards and best practices;
Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
Located in North Austin, TX;
Environment: office, non climate-controlled warehouse;
Ambulatory skills: stand and walk for long periods of time;
Hand-eye coordination and arm/finger/hand dexterity;
Ability to transfer weights up to 80 lbs;
Travel: up to 15% of the time.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED;
Must be at least 18 years of age;
Must be willing to submit to periodic drug testing;
Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license;
Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
Preferred:
English language speaking and writing proficiency;
Warehouse, manufacturing, and/or shipping and receiving experience;
Prior military experience. Veterans/current military: provide DD-214 or statement of service.
