Warehouse Associate
Pacific West Systems, Inc (PWS) is seeking a full-time, regular shift Warehouse Associate. This individual will work in the main corporate shop and yard, and they will support all other locations.
This is great opportunity for the right person to hone their skills and learn new and different job duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Receiving/Picking, packing and shipping parts orders
Perform cleanup / utility work like grounds maintenance, stacking, sorting, wrapping, and organizing products
Working independently or in a team
Safely relocating or repacking inventory items as directed, up to 50 pounds in weight
Inventory maintenance, cycle counting and organization
Pickup/drop-off parts at vendors as needed with company vehicle
Performs preventive and routine maintenance
Adheres to all safety, quality, and testing standards and procedures
Operating machinery or other light equipment as trained in a safe and responsible manners
Working on your feet at a quick pace for the entirety of the shift
Comfortable in an environment where there are forklifts, heavy machinery, and other equipment in the warehouse
Requirements:
A valid California driver’s license is required
Strong organizational skills necessary
Must have clean driving record
Making parts deliveries to jobsites
Some overtime may be necessary
Reaching, crouching, bending over, and other physical activities

PWS needs a strong, self-sufficient individual to work in our warehouse, shop and parts department, Looking for someone with the basic knowledge of heavy equipment, Experience with inventory and parts ordering will help get the right candidate have a jump start. Must have computer skills, and be able to work in a fast paced environment where multi-tasking is a key sill. Individual must be organized, confident, friendly and sales oriented. Good written and communication skills is necessary. This position requires walking,
