J Luxe Designs is looking for a Warehouse Associate to oversee operations in their Kent, Washington facility and at staging job sites throughout King County. J Luxe creates unique, individualized spaces through staging homes and interior design projects. The Warehouse Associate will move and organize materials within the facility and to and from job sites. This will range from the (load or unload) of materials from trucks by platform, by carrying, pushing, rolling, or operating hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, or other material handling equipment. They safely operate forklifts or other machinery in order to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and transporting products and inventory to and from job locations.

This position also requires individuals to stock and maintain warehouse inventory and fill outgoing and incoming orders. Requires general knowledge of Microsoft products and ability to quickly learn our Inventory Management System. Must ensure that products are accurately pulled from stock, labeled, boxed and wrapped according to J Luxe standards. There are many physical demands for this position. Individuals will spend the majority of their time standing, lifting and carrying products and climbing ladders to stock shelves and fill orders.

The ideal candidate must have the ability to work fast and handle multiple tasks, be a quick learner and take initiative when needed. The warehouse manager is highly motivated, organized, hardworking, has a positive outlook, and works well with others. The role is looked on as a team leader, who can delegate and manage movers and staff. Most of all this would be a perfect fit for a physically active hard-working person. The environment is quick paced and organized.

Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain new & existing inventory spaces, keeping like items and colors together
- Responsible for unloading deliveries, verifying order accuracy, organizing new and existing inventory
- Coordinate all aspects of logistics and fulfillment, pulling requested items for jobs as well as restocking those items upon return
- Staging properties by pulling and packing selected furniture, loading and unloading company van at job sites, assembling furniture, and hanging art
- “Destaging” properties by disassembling furniture, collecting and packing accessories and art, and working with the movers to ensure all inventory is returned back to warehouse undamaged
- Ensuring all inventory is protected with appropriate furniture bags, plastic wrap, mattress pads and moving blankets as needed
- Use of a forklift to maintain warehouse
- Follow company safety policies & procedures and encourages other associates to do the same
- General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition
- Breakdown cardboard, pallets, and empties warehouse trash
- Perform minor repairs, as needed
- Notify GM of major repairs and needed supplies
- Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehouse procedures
- Preference will be given to candidates who are licensed to operate a forklift

Requirements:
- Proven track record of experience managing a warehouse operation
- Well organized with the ability to be flexible based on the needs of the business
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable driving a 16 ft truck o No driver’s license restrictions
- Ability to pack truck, move an array of furniture / accessories into and out of staged homes as well as drive company truck o All the while ensuring no damage to company equipment, furniture and/or accessories
- Operate basic tools and assemble furniture
- Coordinate repairs of furniture and accessories ensuring availability for future jobs
- Complete various warehouse chores, and Lift 75 to 150 pounds
- Lift and maneuver heavy furniture / accessories through tight spaces, up and down stairs and in and out of truck
- Maintain a respectful and professional relationship with coworkers and clients
