The Parent Party�s mission is to organize and advance the national movement empowering parents against union bosses, corrupt school boards and unaccountable bureaucrats. This national movement supports political candidates (at every level, Democrat, Republican or Independent) who believe parents should have the freedom and independence to decide what education their child should receive and opposes those political candidates who impede these fundamental rights of parents.

Position Title: Videographer and Marketing Associate � Full-time position to change the world for millions of American families who have a child stuck in an education system that is failing them and their families.

Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Chief of Staff of the Parent Party, the Videographer and Marketing Associate will assist with the development and implementation of our national efforts to advance educational freedom and independence for parents to choose the school they think is best for their child. The work includes our efforts to take on teachers unions, and others, who stand in the way of this critical advocacy for parents and their children. This is a full-time position who will work as part of a team working with candidates running for political office (from School Board to Senator) who support the Parent Party�s agenda. The successful candidate will understand how to tell a story using video and other graphics from pre-production to editing to final presentation as part of a communications plan. They will also have a great attention to detail, high degree of accuracy, a sense of urgency and the ability to multi-task. She or he must be able to work both independently and collaboratively, as necessary.

Location: New York City, New York

Responsibilities
� Will support the marketing, communications and fundraising activities of the Parent Party;
� Will provide operational, communications and strategic support across the organization supporting political candidates running for office;
� Will work with political candidates, parents, guardians, volunteers and other Members of the Parent Party to promote educational freedom and independence for all families;
� Will build relationships with media and other influencers;
� Will assist with editing content for internal and external communications;
� Will assist with the creation of content that engages audience segments and leads to measurable action. Participate in the decide who, what, where, and when to disseminate;
� Will assist with the creation, development, distribution, and maintenance of all video, print, digital and other electronic collateral including, but not limited to newsletters, brochures, and campaign websites;
� Will maintain various shoot calendars, spreadsheets, reports, and documents; coordinate remote shoots and livestream logistics; and oversee upkeep and maintenance of video archive;
� Will assist the Management Team to develop and implement the Parent Party's strategic planning;
� Will provide and present statistical analysis to the Management Team;
� Other duties as assigned.

Filming and production Qualifications
� Expertise working with photography and videography
� Recording and editing video footage and sound projects, capturing / importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics (titles, lower thirds and bullet points) adding music / voiceover / sfx media management and archiving project media
� Expertise with video and photo editing software
� Expertise with video / film production
� Strength in storytelling
� Experience with talking head / Interview multi-channel camera production
� Graphic design skills
� Experience in client facing / interpersonal communication.

Required Qualifications
� Bachelor�s Degree in Television/Film/Media Production, Communications, or a related field
� Minimum 3 years� experience working in the digital/film/media production
� Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
� Excellent working knowledge of 4K/1080p video editing and creation of motion graphics in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop in a MAC ecosystem (proficiency in other Adobe applications a plus)
� Comprehension of video export settings, plus knowledge of audio mixing + color grading
� Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video editing and media management
� Ability to work proficiently across multiple mediums � digital, video, print, etc�
� Ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions
� Effective communication skills
� Ability to work independently with appropriate supervision
� Demonstrated ability to take a leadership role in project coordination.
� MUST HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR

Salary: $45,000-60,000 per year + benefits
