Veterinary Technician
Partners and Paws Veterinary Services in Lisle, IL has a part-time or full-time opportunity for an experienced veterinary technician (credentialed or non-credentialed).
PPVS is a unique small animal general practice, working with civilian pets, law enforcement K9s, and rescue pets! Our ideal candidate would have 1-2 years experience as a veterinary technician/assistant. An ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently is a must!

PPVS is a fast-paced, two doctor hospital with a mission of providing exceptional veterinary care and client service. In addition to having a hospital in Lisle, we also provide services to clients in a mobile unit, affectionately called "The Rig", across the Chicagoland area.
Ability to manage multiple tasks is a necessity, as is flexibility with hours for occasional events.
Salary is based on experience, training/education, and skills.
Duties include:
* Care of hospitalized and outpatient patients
* IV catheter placement, venipuncture
* Using digital radiology
* Use of in-house laboratory machines
* Preparing patients for surgery and procedures
* Assisting in surgery
* Weekend/After-hour flexibility, coverage
Benefits include:
* 40 hours PTO during 1st yr of employment, then 80 hours PTO 1+ yrs

Required:
High school or equivalent education
