Veterinary Technician
Looking for an experienced veterinary assistant with a minimum of 1 year experience/vet assistant schooling. Weekend availability is required. Bilingual (english/spanish/Chinese) is a plus. Some reception duties will be included.
Job duties to include, but not limited to:
- Rooming patients & obtain history/TPR
- IVC placement
- Venipuncture
- In-house blood work on IDEXX & Abaxis machines
- Digital x-rays
- Dental cleanings
- Hospitalized patient care
- Administering medications PO/SQ/IV/IM
- Surgical prep, monitoring, and recovery
- Surgical pack cleaning & assembly
- Walking, feeding, and cleaning boarders
- Maintaining hospital cleanliness
- Answering phones & scheduling appointments
All our employees are cross trained in nursing and kennel jobs as well. You must be a team player.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
COVID-19 considerations:
We are providing curb side services, with a minimal contact with clients. Reception area have sneeze guards, mask is compulsory for every one, provide hand sanitizers.
