The Vacuum Excavation Operator role requires a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and consists of about 10% driving and 90% labor. The Operator is responsible for getting the company commercial vehicle and its crew safely to the client job site. They are also responsible for all client site interactions when performing work and for completing all customer vacuum excavation services safely, on time, accurately and to the customer’s satisfaction. In addition to performing work for our clients, the Operator will perform some maintenance on the commercial vehicle and will ensure accuracy in all transaction documents. They will be responsible for company gas, hotel and credit card expenditures and receipts if applicable.

• Must be customer service and team oriented.
• Must be able to communicate in English effectively both verbally and written.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to manage time effectively.
• Must be self-motivated and willing to learn.
• Must be able to solve problems independently and adapt to any situation that may arise.
• Must be able to do physical work, and lift up to 50 pounds, in an outdoor setting in any weather condition.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
• Follow safety rules and regulations at all times.
• Drive and Operate Vacuum Excavation Trucks in a safe, professional manner at all times.
• Perform Pre/Post Trip inspections and follow all DOT license requirements
• Inspect job sites for safety concerns or hazards.
• Safely operate high pressure wands and vacuum excavation hoses for all excavation needs.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with the work being performed.
• Must be able to assist with maintaining all equipment, tools and electronics.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
• Current Class A or B CDL with tanker endorsements
• Experience hauling liquids is required
• Able to travel and work extended hours as needed
• Experience in construction, oilfield, or other jobs involving heavy labor
• Knowledge of DOT regulations

Benefits:
• Pay $23.00 to $28.00 Straight Time/Hour
