Depending upon the availability of the candidate, we are willing to be flexible in an effort to ensure proper care of our clients.

An Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Social Worker, or Trainee are responsible for meeting with clients for treatment at our Ranch facility. This individual will have a caseload assigned to him/her and will be responsible for facilitating groups/lectures as well as one-on-one sessions. The responsibility of the position requires that this individual motivates clients to actively participate in their own recovery process, learn new skills, and gain knowledge to improve their lives so they may live without mood altering substances.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate must:

Have a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology (or enrolled in a program consistent with BBS requirements for Counseling Psychology with progression towards licensure.)

Be comfortable with individual, family and group therapy modalities.

Have knowledge/experience in the Twelve Step Recovery Program/Process.

Be able to work under pressure and communicate effectively with multiple staff members.

Maintain a professional manner towards clients, family, staff, groups, and visitors.

Have (or obtain prior to employment) current CPR and First Aid Certification . ·

Have (or obtain prior to employment) current TB (skin) test.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Gather information from clients in Biological/Psychological/Social Assessment upon enrollment in treatment to navigate goal-setting and treatment process.

Meet with clients individually, in group, and family sessions to assist in their overcoming dependencies and maladjustments in daily life.

Counsel family members to assist them in understanding and supporting the client in his/her recovery.

Maintain confidential, electronic records as it relates to client's treatment

Collaborate with other staff members to perform ongoing clinical assessments.

Attend treatment and staff meetings (as needed.)

Refer patients, clients, or family members to community resources or to specialists as necessary.
