SCHEDULES ARE INFANTS 8-5:00 PM OR 9:30-6:30; TWO YEAR OLDS 8-5:00; THREE YEAR OLDS 2:30-6:30; FOUR YEAR OLDS 8-5:00; ELEMENTARY/BUS DRIVER 2:30-6:30; SUMMER TEACHER 7-4:00; 9:30-6:30PM

Qualifications:

Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency and pass fingerprinting and criminal background check.
Must be a minimum of 18 years old
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
A minimum of (1) year of toddler lead teacher experience in a licensed childcare facility
Knowledge and understanding of all current state and local regulations
Responsibilities:

Provide a positive and nurturing environment for the children
Provide a clean and attractive, well-kept classroom with all bulletin boards current
Implement the Childrens Lighthouse curriculum
Communicate to parents frequently - verbally and in writing - using the prescribed Childrens Lighthouse technology
Ability to effectively build trust and relationships with the parents and students
Accept responsibility for maintenance and necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas and playgrounds
Maintain the Childrens Lighthouse professional appearance, attitude and work behavior
Assist in other capacities as determined by the Director
Attend all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions as determined by the Director
Observe all rules and regulations of Childrens Lighthouse and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children
Work Environment:

Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs - Will frequently lift as in lifting, carrying and holding children in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations
Required to stand up to 90% of the day
Must be able to stoop, bend and sit on a child's level
Able to physically and mentally interact and react to children on the playground and/or in the classroom, and attend to their needs
Must have the energy level required to do the job
Upon Employment:

First Aid and CPR training, as required
Successfully pass background check
Minimum of 18 years old
