TAX PREPARER
We are currently seeking a highly-driven, self-motivated Tax Preparer to join our team! This is a full time position.

We are an established tax and accounting firm that specializes in tax compliance and tax negotiation including tax return preparation, bookkeeping & more. We have been in business for 9+ years and are continuing to grow. We are in search of an intelligent self-starter who will help our Tax Prep team get the job done:

Responsibilities:
• Prepare or assist in preparing simple to complex tax returns for individuals or businesses (Federal and State)
• Review financial records such as income statements and documentation of expenditures
• Interview clients to verify or obtain personal information regarding potential deductions, grants, or allowances
• Accurately relay client information to case workers
• Professionally handle communication from clients and taxing authorities
• Transition files to different teams with clear and concise directions for overall case closure and client retention.
Requirements:
• 1Tax Seasons Experience (Required)
• Bookkeeping Experience (Preferred)
• Experience with Pro Series (Preferred)
• Ability to handle a fast paced environment
• Flexible and able to shift priorities
• Impeccable organizational skills
• Ability to work independently as well as a team player
Education:
• Bachelor's (Preferred)
License/Certification:
• Valid Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
• CAF # (Preferred)
