Taproom & Kitchen Manager:
At BC Brewery our motto is "Building a Community through Beer" and we are looking for hardworking,
motivated, self starting individuals to join our team! To be successful in this role, you will be able to
manage both our taproom and kitchen and break down the wall that typically seperates front of house and back of house staff.
Our goal is to have our team operating as one cohesive unit and it will take an individual with great multitaking skills to lead our
team in a fun and fast paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Promoting a team spirit and good morale among employees in both front and back of house.
Working closely with fellow Managers and the General Manager to ensure effective business operations
Investigating and resolving guest complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations in a polite, friendly manner and while delivering excellent customer service.
Supervising staff in terms of food preparation, customer service, cleaning, and repairs to taproom, kitchen and grounds.
Understanding an array of technology, including POS, Self Serve Tap Walls, PA/sound system, Kitchen Display Screen, etc
Monitoring compliance with health and fire regulations.
Performing food preparation, bussing, serving food and drinks, etc.
Maintaining equipment through maintenance and repairs and coordinating services as needed
Keeping inventory, restocking and ordering of food and supplies on a weekly basis.
Maintaining a working knowledge of all menu items, products and production procedures
Creating staff schedules for both departments.
Training of staff on all food, serving, cleaning and maintenance
Promoting, planning, preparing for and executing catering and special events both public and private.

REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma, GED certificate, or demonstration of sufficient reading and math skills to read manuals and prepare computer reports as required; hospitality and restaurant management certification or college degree preferred
Strong team-building and communication skills to train and motivate employees
Excellent customer service, treating guests like family
Strong time management skills and accuracy to deal with a variety of duties
Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays, as required
Catering & Event Coordination experience would be very beneficial.
Knowledge of craft beer and brewing a plus!
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
