Kids 'R' Kids Westpointe is looking to hire Camp Counselors. Job start date will be May 30 - end of summer. We are offering an end of summer bonus for all camp counselors that work the entire summer. Camp counselors will be working with students aged 5-11. Our summer program is packed with fun field trips every week and curriculum that will keep our students engaged in an environment that encourages them to explore and learn. 

Candidates will be required to perform all tasks according to Kids 'R' Kids policies and procedures and childcare regulatory agencies. Our staff provide a warm, nurturing, safe and loving environment where self-concepts are enhanced, independence encouraged, and individuality respected. Candidates should possess the ability to engage children and earn their trust and attention by creating a fun learning environment. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Current High school students 16 years of age or older

19+ must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. 

Must successfully complete a pre-employment criminal background check.

Demonstrate the following qualities: self-motivation, self-direction, patience, ability to make good judgments, creativity, reliability, and dependability

Demonstrate the ability to handle crisis situations, especially where children are involved and to respond immediately to any emergency

Required to participate in continuing education as required by state

Maintain certification in CPR and First Aid Training (First Aid and CPR training will be provided)

Ability to analyze the effectiveness of classroom operation and choose the most effective course of action.

Ability to resolve problems, handle conflict and make effective decisions under pressure.

Ability to read, comprehend and follow oral and written instructions.

Ability to work well in a team environment, collaborating with others to accomplish business objectives.

Ability to use sound judgment and make timely decisions based on careful, objective review and analysis of available considerations and factors.

Ability to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events and adapt to changes accordingly in the workplace.

Must be able to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:30am-6:30pm.
