Software Developer/Designer

We offer and develop standard and customized solutions for both retail and long-term care pharmacies, as well as solutions for long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, CCRC�s, group homes, and hospitals. We are looking for a software programmer/developer with an interest in not just programming but in designing software for the healthcare and pharmacy industries. This is a permanent and full-time position where you will be working out of our main office located in the North Dallas/Addison area. As a participant in a highly collaborative software development environment, you will have the opportunity to advance your technical acumen by working with more senior software technicians. As you continue to demonstrate an ongoing improvement in technical proficiency, you will be given the opportunity to work on projects with increasing responsibilities.
Your job responsibilities will include the following:
� Design and development of software
� Identifying and documenting the scope of the work for upcoming development projects
� Determining and documenting requirements specifications
� Software documentation
� Development of testing and test plans, including unit testing, regression testing, integration testing, etc.
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills:
� Minimum of three to five years of direct professional experience and a relevant undergraduate degree
o 3 to 5 years of experience in C++ or VC++ is a must
o 3 to 5 years of experience in C# is a must
� Experience in object-oriented programming
� Knowledge of and experience in any of the following languages:
o C/MFC/C#.net
o ASP.NET
o Java/J2EE
� Knowledge of and experience with any of the following environments:
o Strong SQL skills (Oracle / Microsoft SQL Server)
o Entity framework with web services/APIs (REST/SOAP)
o Cloud computing (preferably Azure or AWS)
o Source control systems (preferably GIT or VSS)
� Knowledge of mobile application development, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript is a plus.
� Healthcare experience is a plus.
� A willingness to work with more experienced programmers and to discuss with them modern design and development techniques is a big plus!
