Specifically, we�re looking to expand our software development team to advance the creation of world-class data analysis software. Our management is a highly accomplished team with serial start-up success in biological and biopharmaceutical analysis. Job specification
Make a significant contribution in the development of our next generation data analysis software. The software performs automated data processing of data but also includes an optional highly interactive user interface for easy metadata inspection by scientist users. The user interface is developed using Visual Studio C# .NET with a C++ back-end for mass spec calculations. You will be involved in all aspects of the development cycle from specification and design to coding and testing.
Personal characteristics required � initiative, drive, and skill to rapidly complete projects on time: listen carefully, analyze requirements, create a hierarchical specification balancing importance and ease of implementation, implement the simplest possible software solution and thereby do more by doing less, constantly author test during development, interact with users for feedback for the next development turn.
Requirements
BS in Computer Science or Engineering, Biochemistry, other related science, or equivalent work experience
1 � 3 years in commercial software development is a +; 3+ years in commercial software development is a ++
Visual Studio C# .NET development, WinForms, WPF experience is a ++; advanced degree in biochemistry, structural biology, or protein chemistry is a ++; OpenMS, TPP experience is a +++.
