ABOUT A MOBILE IOS DEVELOPER: �Typical day� �What you�re getting into�
Develop, maintain, and support mobile iOS applications using the latest Apple technologies. Development duties will include UI design and development, implementation of core business logic, creation and maintenance of APIs to support offline database functionality and synchronization of data, and deployment.
Review of currently developed solutions to enhance and improve design and usability. Suggest future application ideas to support the needs of the business.
Support current and future development and integration initiatives. This may include development and support of legacy client-server applications, APIs/web services, implementation and integration of 3rd party software systems, data integration and BI tools.
Effectively communicate and collaborate with other developers, IT Team, and other team members throughout the organization to achieve the development goals of the business.
Documentation of all programming tasks, processes, and procedures.
Self-motivated to continually research, learn new and emerging technologies to enhance current and future-state software initiatives.
YOU MIGHT BE A GREAT MATCH IF YOU HAVE:
Bachelor�s degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of software development experience.
1+ years of iOS development.
Knowledge of Swift, UIKit, and other development and framework tools in the iOS ecosystem.
Proficiency in development and/or consumption of APIs and web services. Experience using Apache and IIS web servers, PHP, Postman is beneficial.
Experience using source control systems (GIT) as well as solid understanding of application deployment.
Database experience and knowledge of SQL.
Experience with application development in Visual Studio, Powerbuilder or other development tools helpful to be able to support legacy applications as a backup to other developers.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies as well as a solid understanding of OOP design principles.
Experience with project management / tracking software.
Proficiency in Office 365 suite of applications including Microsoft Teams.
HOURS: Full-time (40-45 hours per week)
Primarily Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM
