Sales Associate
SALES ASSOCIATE for start-up PET COMPANY needed immediately – $18 to $20 / hr DOE
Pawganic Living is a start-up women-owned small business seeking to hire an experienced and enthusiastic retail sales person who has OUTSTANDING (customer) service experience and THRIVES in a sales environment with high volume people AND dog interaction!!!
We’ve been in business just under a year and create hand-crafted dog meals, toppers and dog treats, as well as specialty bakery items such as decorated cookies, special occasion cakes, pupcakes AND we make paw balms for our VIP's (Very Important Pet's) - our products are conscientiously made primarily using USDA certified organic and / or fair-trade ingredients and most important, made with MERAKI, which has contributed to a growing demand for Pawganic Living products!
We will be opening our 1st location at the Westfield UTC shopping center within a high-traffic, premier cabana / kiosk location and need YOU part-time or full-time although you must be available on weekends as well as during the week and around the (major) holidays as they are our busiest times of the year and be willing to work overtime when needed.
The successful candidate will model the 3 F’s: FAITH, FOCUS and FIRE.

• You are an animal lover and particularly, LOVE dogs!!!
• You are not adverse to cleaning up after our VIP's (Very Important Pet's) in times of the occasional "accident" inside the store
• You have minimum of 2 years' of sales experience in any industry where you are self-motivated and goal oriented, and have a strong interest to achieve or exceed sales goals both in-store and online through Pawganic Living's e-commerce platform
• You have proven ability to engage your client and close a sale while building lasting relationships with the pet parent(s) and VIP's (Very Important Pets)
• You develop lifetime client value by opening rewards program accounts
• You have exceptional listening and communication skills
• You enjoy collaborating / brainstorming within a team environment
• You excel working in a fast-paced environment
• You enjoy being outdoors and don't mind working in a non-enclosed space
• You are FEARLESS and ADVENTURUOUS, and have a "can do" mindset, willing to do whatever it takes for the success of everyone, who make up Pawganic Living, regardless of whether it's in your job scope or not
• You are reliable, responsible, mature and have a professional yet warm presentation, demeanor and presence
